Counselling
helps to enhance the quality of life and relationships
and to explore choices, developing and understanding
feelings, thoughts and actions.
People come to counselling for different reasons: relationship
issues, bereavement, addictions or just having a sense
of general unhappiness and dissatisfaction. You might
find that stress, anxiety, depression, low confidence
and self-esteem prevent you from reaching what is important
for you.
Cristina's approach to counselling is integrative.
She will work with you, as her client, drawing from
a variety of models of counselling according to your
individual needs and in a way that is felt to be the
most valuable, therapeutic and effective for achieving
positive change and transformation.
Her experience includes working as a private independent
counsellor from various locations in London and practicing
as a counsellor in the addictions field. She is also
working in mental health for a charity-based organization
in Westminster. Prior to counselling, Cristina worked
in the financial sector in the City of London for a
number of years.
Cristina's qualifications and professional training
include a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from
Thames Valley University in Existential and Person Centred
Models (BACP Course Accredited), a Certificate in Counselling
with Merit at Birkbeck. The Essentials of Psychosynthesis
Training, Shame and Self-Esteem’s module studies
in Psychoanalytical Psychology at Birkbeck University.
She is a member of the British Association for Counselling
and Psychotherapy and the Association of Independent
Practitioners division of BACP.
Fees are £45 per 50-minute session. Few concessions
